Terms of use
Last updated: July 10, 2026
CustomLoL is a free service that connects League of Legends players to organise custom games. By using the site, you accept the rules below.
1. What the service is
CustomLoL lets you create or join a waiting room (a “lobby”), pick your role and your team, chat by text and voice, then grab the invitation link of the custom game created in the League of Legends client.
The game itself takes place in the Riot Games client, not on CustomLoL. The site organises the meet-up; it does nothing else.
2. Who can use the site
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 15 and live in France, the consent of a parent or guardian is required.
You must also comply with the League of Legends terms of use. A suspended or banned Riot account has no business here.
3. Your name and your account
You can play with a simple nickname, or sign in with Discord or Google to keep your statistics from one session to the next. You are responsible for the activity carried out from your account.
Your Riot ID must be your own. Impersonating another player, a Riot Games employee or a moderator is forbidden.
4. What you publish
Nickname, avatar, chat messages, game link, voice: you remain responsible for everything you send. The rules detail what is forbidden. We may remove content or exclude you from a lobby without notice.
5. Voice chat
Voice chat works peer-to-peer: your voice travels directly between the players of your team and is neither stored, nor recorded, nor listened to by the service. You can mute your mic or leave the voice chat at any time.
6. Availability
CustomLoL is a personal project, provided as is and without warranty. The service may be interrupted, modified or shut down at any time, without notice or compensation. Lobbies are ephemeral: they disappear after the game or after three hours of inactivity.
7. Liability
We are not responsible for the behaviour of other players, the content of the game links they publish, or anything that happens once the game is launched in the League of Legends client. If you have a problem with a player, use the report form.
8. Sanctions
The creator of a lobby can exclude a player from it. Breaking the rules can lead to exclusion from a lobby, blocked access to the service, or deletion of the account.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may evolve. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change counts as acceptance.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Failing an amicable resolution, the Belgian courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to bring the matter before the courts of your place of residence.
